Tung Lok Seafood

It was a weekday evening, when I had to stay back a little while at work place. Hence hubby came to fetch me after work. As we were both famished and thinking hard where to dine, we ended up at Tung Lok Seafood at Arena Country Club as it was near to our working places, which also means we can avoid massive jam during peak hours when everybody is rushing back home from work or looking for spots to dine out in city area.

I was sipping a cool refreshing honey aleo vera drink.

A die-hard fan of freshly sliced sashimi.....:D

We love kapachi aka yellow tail sashimi the most as its flesh is firmer than salmon.

Coffee roasted pork ribs...very intense coffee flavour and slightly overly sweet....for coffee lovers. But I still prefer their lemongrass baked ribs...

Our appetizer: Raw live oysters on bed of crushed ice...

Very tantalizing looking fresh oysters....slurppp...

My favourite green: Sambal belacan stir fried sweet potato leaves

Beancurd with crab meat and fish maw....love this dish

Deep fried wasabi prawn...those prawns were humongous and crunchy!

Very satisfying to scoff a fat raw oyster...:)

We had traditional monk jump over the wall rice dumpling and Tung Lok XO rice dumpling. Inside the XO dumpling, comprising of pork belly, conpoy, mung beans, dried prawns, and topped with savoury XO sauce. Though the dumplings were pricey but the goodness of the ingredients were worth to try.

Monk Jump Over The Wall Rice dumpling, wrapped in lotus leaf: served with supreme ingredients of braised pork, conpoy, shark fins, whole abalone, dried fish maw, and Spanish ham....is simply irresistable!
