DIM SUMing @ Peach Garden

Peach Garden Chinese Restaurant serves delectable Cantonese cuisine which has thrilled its patrons to come back for more. It has earned numerous dining accolades from renowned magazines such as Singapore Tatler and Wine & Dine. The first Peach Garden Restaurant was opened in 2002 at Novena Gardens. It has expanded its chain into Thomson Plaza, Hotel Miramar, OCBC Centre and Orchid Country Club.

With classic yet dashing decor, and attentive line of waitresses and waiters, this place is indeed worth the visit. We tried out their dim sum in one of their branches, located in Orchid Country Club. It was full house, however, we didn't wait for too long before we were guided in to our table.

A candid picture by my cutie son...;)

Love the sakura printed wallpaper....surrounded the waiting area at the entrance. See the little peach tree...

While waiting to be seated, hubby went through the menu.

YAY...got our table after less than 10 minutes of waiting. We were famished! Let's order food, shall we?

The menu...

Started off with piping hot century egg & chicken porridge.

Fruity roll with avocado cube, the fried outer layer was crispy, a bit chewy and springy, as if made from glutinous flour....forgot the special name of this dish...which stated in the menu

Steamed 'Har gau'

Prawn rolls in Dragon Beard...topped with fish roe

Phoenix Claws

Steamed pork ribs with salted black beans

Siew Mai with seaweed wrap, topped with wholesome piece of scallop meat.

Steamed yam cake

Custard buns

Prawn chee cheong fun

Pork siew mai

Waiting for more to come...hahaaa

Crispy yam ball with char siew filling

Insisted to take a picture with the sakura....since I love it so much...heee
